Stockton! Do you know what time it is? It is time to get ready and party hard at this year’s Tequila Fest 2026 at the Weber Point Events Center, here, in Downtown Stockton, CA.

FOOD, VENDORS, TEQUILA, & MORE!

This year is going to get even better. There will be food trucks, merch vendors, live music, family fun, and so much more.

And let’s not forget about the drink vendors(wink). For sure there will be Tequila vendors and other drinks for purchase with of course a valid ID, 21+.

There will be also tequila taste testing and other fun activities to do while in the fest.

❄️We all know it’s never too early to start shopping for those Christmas gifts. Downtown Stockton is ready to announce that this year we are celebrating Christmas in July. Not just for one day but three and it is FREE admission to attend!

What’s Happening

This year’s event will be taking place at the Mexican Heritage Center in Downtown Stockton California. There will be live music, delicious foods and drinks, a variety of vendors, paintings and art, unique gifts, collectable items, and so much more! This year they are featuring artwork made by Albino Perez from Guatemala.

According to Gracie Madrid, Executive Director of the Mexican Heritage Center & Gallery, this event was started because, “People thought it would be fun to celebrate Christmas in July.”

Why You Should Come

Madrid shared that most Christmas in July attendees “are very happy in seeing all the unique handmade items that you won’t be able to find in stores.”

This is a perfect event to celebrate numerous things, from summertime, to Christmas vibes, to just coming out and having fun with family, friends, and community. With their inviting and welcoming atmosphere, the Mexican Heritage Center is the right place to enjoy any celebration. There will be plenty of entertainment for the whole fam.

Madrid is excited about the event because it will contribute to “making money for our Mexican Heritage Center and Gallery, so we can keep our doors open to the community.”

Come out and support the unique vendors and your community. Make sure to start grabbing those Christmas shopping lists and stop by this event. Don’t forget to visit our stand, the Downtown Stockton Alliance; we will be there with free giveaways and merch for sale!

Let’s Celebrate Independence Day!🎆

Stockton is hosting an unforgettable Independence Day celebration that promises to bring our community together for a day filled with patriotic spirit, family fun, and spectacular entertainment. This year’s July 4th event offers something special for everyone, making it the perfect way to honor America’s birthday while creating lasting memories.

A Full Day of Patriotic Fun

The celebration kicks off at 11:00 AM with a vibrant parade that will showcase the best of our community spirit. The parade procession will travel eastbound from Weber Avenue and Center Street; northbound on El Dorado Street to Oak Street; westbound on Oak Street; and southbound on Center Street back to Weber Avenue.

As the afternoon unfolds, festivities continue at the Weber Events Center starting at 5:00 PM. The venue transforms into a bustling hub featuring food trucks offering everything from classic American BBQ to international cuisine. Browse through the art market where local artisans display their unique creations, perfect for Independence Day souvenirs.

Families will love the family-friendly performances scheduled throughout the evening, featuring local musicians, dancers, and entertainers. Children can enjoy dedicated play activities designed just for them, ensuring our youngest community members have just as much fun as the adults.

The grand finale arrives at 9:30 PM with a breathtaking fireworks display that will light up the Stockton sky in brilliant colors. This spectacular show serves as the perfect ending to a perfect day, as families gather under the stars to celebrate our nation’s independence.

Honoring the Fallen: Memorial Day in Downtown Stockton

Remembering the Brave

Memorial Day is a time to remember and honor those who gave their lives in service to the United States. In Downtown Stockton, the local VFW (Veterans of Foreign Wars) Luneta Post #52 will host a meaningful community ceremony filled with reflection, music, and unity.

Celebrating 100 Years of A Historic Space

This year’s event holds special meaning—2025 marks the 100th anniversary of the historic Civic Auditorium building, a keystone of Stockton’s community and a designated historical landmark. For a century, this space has brought people together as a perfect centerpiece for Downtown Stockton events.

A Celebration of Remembrance

The event will take place on Monday, May 26, 2025, starting at 1:00 PM at the VFW in Downtown Stockton. Admission is free and open to all.

The purpose of the ceremony is to honor the courageous men and women of the U.S. military who gave their lives in service to our nation. Their bravery reminds us of the profound cost of liberty and the enduring strength that defines our nation.

As a part of this year’s Memorial Day remembrance, the Downtown Stockton Alliance has installed banners honoring our armed forces around the Stockton Memorial Civic Auditorium. Take a stroll around the auditorium to view these memorial banners after the ceremony.

ABOUT FLAVORFEST:

With art vendors and exhibits; live entertainment and workshops; over 30 food trucks and booths; a beer and wine garden; and the beautiful Downtown Stockton waterfront, Flavorfest is the best way to spend a mid-May weekend. The event started May 17th, and is running through TODAY, Sunday the 19th!

Park at SEB Garage or take the bus, if you’re inclined.
Check in at the entrance booth and take a selfie next to the giant Stockton letters near the main stage!
Browse through Art Alley to have your portrait drawn, and maybe get a psychic reading.
Start your foodventure off right with an iced coffee from Mely’s Churros and a healthy fruit cup from Fruitopia Fruit Bowls.
Stop into The Kitchen @ Stonebrier tent to see what you can learn and sample in their demo kitchen.
Peruse the vendors nearby, and wave hello to us at the Downtown Stockton Alliance booth, where we are selling our brand new merchandise – Bob Hope T-Shirts, Chung Wah dragon T-Shirts, Rainbow tank tops, hoodies, and more!
Enjoy a vegan dumpling from the Drunken Dumpling (pictured below – very tasty 😋)!
