The Royal Chicano Air Force (RCAF) is an artistic collective based in Sacramento. The exhibit is on view at the Mexican Heritage Center’s gallery now through March 30th.
There will be a special Opening Reception on Friday, March 20th beginning at 5:30pm and continuing until 7:30pm. Drinks and lite hors d’oeuvres will be provided on the opening night.

Initially named the Rebel Chicano Art Front, the RCAF was founded in 1969 to express the goals of the Farm Workers. The RCAF is best known for its mural paintings, poster art production, and individual artistic contributions. The artists have produced murals and exhibitions from San Diego to Seattle. RCAF is significant as a collective that has maintained a fifty year history of engaging communities to express their Chicano culture, history and struggle for equal rights.
