This coming Saturday Stockton author Matt Abraham will be live at The Write Place. His novel, Old Debts, was recently featured in The Lodi News Sentinel and deals with themes of redemption, hope, and vengeance but focuses specifically on California’s homeless crisis. While the fictional tale is rife with tension and pacing, the reader will also learn of alternative theories of the cause of the current crisis, and creative solutions to it.
Mr. Abraham will be reading a few of his favorite chapters and will add some color, context, and background as to why he chose these particular pieces and why their settings are so important. He’ll be answering questions afterwards about the art and craft of writing a novel, as well as marketing one successfully in the current literary market. Seats are limited so reserve your spot today!
