Building on a strong living legacy, Juneteenth “Slavery and Freedom” Historic Waterfront Tour continues in a good way. Fluid plans include a Luncheon, Downtown events and evening waterfront tour.
Juneteenth remain a very focal legacy few choose to remember. The agreed upon National Celebration of Freedom offers us very unique opportunity to recall the journey through slavery here in the California Central Valley.
Everyone is invited to experience our unique expresssion of “forming a more perfect Union.”

When: Assemble on Thursday, June 18, 2020, 10:00 am, tour begins at 10:30 am
Why: Share the historic sites of Stockton’s Early Pioneer Community, remembering the context for Juneteenth
Where: W.Washington Street and Monroe Street, Historic Stockton Waterfront District
Luncheon to follow at Nena’s Mexican Restaurant, 445 W.Weber Avenue, Stockton, CA
