Hannah Said is an artist living in Berkeley, California. Hannah’s professional career has been focused on Diversity Equity and Inclusion (DEI) within various tech companies and non-profits. Hannah has recently decided to take her professional DEI career and blend it with her personal passion for art and culture, resulting in her Shame// Reflections show.
Shame// Reflections is a community-based art project designed to shine a light on the shadows of shame and misogyny in America. This show pulls together images and stories from individual Muslim women, who have been shamed and isolated, and showcases the incredible healing power of empathy and of collectively bearing witness.
