Veterans Day Ceremony

Come to celebrate and honor our veterans, our WWI servicemen, an a Gold Star Family.

Join them as they honor and celebrate our veterans beginning with a burrito breakfast (first come, first served) with doors open at 9:00am. The ceremony will start at 10:30am. They will celebrate the WWI Centennial with a reading of the names of servicemen from San Joaquin County who died during WWI and Stockton PD will make a presentation to Sgt John Perry’s Gold Star Father Stuart Perry. Edison Choir will perform as will the City of Sacramento Pipe and Drum Band.

The event will feature: A remembrance of the 100th anniversary of the armistice that ended WWI, a reading of the names of the local service members killed in WWI, bag pipe players, a performance by the Edison High School Choir, a presentation of gratitude to a Gold Star Family, and guest speakers Josh Hunsucker and Thomas Fitzgerald III.

Event Timeline: 9:00-10:15 – Breakfast (First Come, First Served) 10:30-11:00: Welcome, Pledge of Allegiance, National Anthem, Invocation 11:00-12:00: Veterans Day Celebration Program
