Alliance Hospitality Guides are…
- Knowledgeable
- Friendly
- Eager to provide visitors with directions or downtown information, and
- Happy to assist and entertain downtown visitors.
Dressed in bright green, our uniformed Hospitality Guides roam a 26-block area, seven days a week. In addition, they serve the community at holidays and special events in the downtown area.

| Hospitality Guides are trained in downtown history, points of interest, merchants and services, transportation and special events. |
They have received training in customer service,basic first-aid, CPR, crisis intervention and local social services. They are equipped with mobile radios and work closely with local law enforcement to report any illegal activity or mischievous behavior they witness. Guides are available to provide escort services to jurors or for downtown tours, with advance notice.

Hospitality Guide Hours
- Throughout the downtown, Monday – Friday, 8 am – 5 pm
- City Centre Cinema Plaza, Friday – Saturday, 5 – 11 pm and Sundays, 1-7 pm

Information Carts & Kiosks
The Hospitality Guides staff a mobile information cart located at the City Centre Cinema Plaza, on weekends (see hours, above).

The cart is stocked with dining guides, restaurant menus, the latest issue of The Downtowner and numerous brochures that feature downtown information.
Additional information carts are located under the marquee at the Bob Hope Theatre during box office (www.bobhopetheatre.com) hours and performances and on the local college campuses at the University of the Pacific, Cal-State University Stanislaus - Stockton and at the San Joaquin Community Delta College. |
