San Joaquin Regional Transit District


SJ RTD Website - The San Joaquin Regional Transit District, the Regional Transit Provider for San Joaquin County, provides public transit services in the Stockton Metropolitan Area, as well as Intercity, Interregional, and Rural Transit Services countywide.

Metro Express

New Bus Rapid Transit service connecting downtown to north Stockton!
Get to shopping centers, University of the Pacific or Delta Community College in 15 minutes without worring about traffic or parking! Metro Express (Route 40) operates during peak hours at 15-minute frequency and every 30 minutes early mornings, evenings and weekends. This service operates clean, quiet and efficient Diesel-Electric Hybrid busses and uses traffic signal priority technology allowing the bus to change red lights at intersections to green when necessary to stay on schedule. Downtown Trolleys

 

1. PLAN AHEAD

Plan ahead and use FREE downtown parking; the Ed Coy Garage on Channel between Miner and Weber is FREE nights and weekends!

Arrange a meeting place for your group away from the venue, like in front of City Hall.

Use cell phones and stay connected.

2. ARRIVE EARLY & ENJOY DOWNTOWN

Arrive at least 30 minutes before the event.

3. RIDE THE TROLLEY

Rout 19 Trolleys run every 15 minutes, every night, Monday through Saturday, and Sundays as needed! Just 25 cents one way!
